Jennifer the Curator provides custom event styling services tailored to each client’s proposal. To ensure a smooth booking experience and protect the integrity of the design process, the following policies apply:
Retainer & Final Payment
A non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of the total event invoice is required at the time of booking to secure your date. This payment confirms your reservation, initiates design planning, and locks in your curated styling experience.
The remaining balance is due no later than 3 days prior to the event date.
Secure Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed through GoDaddy’s integrated payment system. Clients will receive a branded invoice or checkout link via Jennifer the Curator’s website, where they can complete payment using accepted methods such as credit/debit card or other listed options.
A payment confirmation will be sent automatically upon successful transaction
Quote Validity
All quotes are valid for 14 calendar days and may be adjusted based on design changes, travel requirements, or material costs.
Booking Minimums & Seasonal Availability
Jennifer the Curator may enforce booking minimums during peak seasons or holidays. Availability is limited and not guaranteed until the retainer is received. Early booking is encouraged to secure your date.
Rush Bookings
Bookings made within 7 calendar days of the event date are subject to a Rush Fee of 20%. This fee covers expedited design, sourcing, and scheduling to ensure your event receives the same level of curated detail under a condensed timeline.
Late Payment Policy
All final balances are due no later than 3 days prior to the event. Late payments may result in:
• Delayed setup or delivery
• Cancellation of services without refund
• Loss of booking priority or design customization
If payment is not received by the deadline, Jennifer the Curator reserves the right to withhold services until payment is made in full. A late fee of 15% of the remaining balance may be applied at the discretion of the Service Provider.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Emergencies
• Retainers are non-refundable
• One-time reschedule allowed with at least 3 days’ notice
In the event of an emergency situation—either prior to or on the day of the event—the Client may request a reschedule or a partial refund, subject to Jennifer the Curator’s discretion.
Any refund issued will be minus the cost of materials and/or prep time already incurred. Documentation or communication regarding the emergency may be requested to process the adjustment.
To ensure a seamless and curated experience, the Client agrees to the following:
Accurate Event Information

Secure all necessary permissions, permits, or venue approvals required for décor installations—especially for outdoor setups, public spaces, or commercial locations.
Authorized Decision-Maker
Only the Client who signs this Service Agreement is authorized to request additional services, changes, or modifications to the original proposal. All communications, approvals, and decisions must be made by this authorized Client.
Responsibility for Damaged or Lost Items
The authorized Client is responsible for the full replacement cost of any styling items that are damaged beyond repair, lost, or stolen during the event. This includes, but is not limited to:
If Jennifer the Curator is unable to retrieve styling items due to restricted building access, the Client will be held responsible for the full replacement value of any unreturned items. This includes situations where the venue is locked, inaccessible, or entry is denied post-event.
Jennifer the Curator will assess any damages or losses post-event and issue a detailed invoice if applicable.
Jennifer the Curator maintains full creative direction over all styling elements to ensure consistency, intentionality, and alignment with your approved proposal.
Mock-Up Approval & Final Design
Custom mock-ups are provided to clarify the event vision and styling details. Once a mock-up is approved by the Client, it is considered final.
No further design changes, additions, or substitutions will be accepted.
Requests for changes after approval may be subject to additional fees and are not guaranteed.

Photography & Portfolio Use
Styled elements may be photographed or recorded for portfolio and promotional use.
Client privacy and event details are always respected.
